5 Speaking Tips To Succeed on Dragon’s Den (or Wow Any Audience)

5 lessons learned about speaking from my sons Dragon’s Den Pitch

In case you don’t know, Dragon’s Den is a national show very similar to Shark Tank in the US. I’m so proud of my son Teagan for being the youngest participant in the show at 9 years old. Not only did he give an amazing presentation, he walked away with the support of the dragons for his DooGoods card game!

How did he make a successful pitch that wowed the Dragons and convinced them to invest in his idea?

Watch the video training to find out! {Can’t see the embedded video at the top? Click here to watch.}

Here’s a summary of the 5 things you need to for any pitch to be successful:

  1. do your research and know your audience
  2. make it personal to those who are in your audience
  3. remember that everyone is really just like you
  4. practice!
  5. bring in the entertainment factor

Now I want to hear from you: share in the comments below how YOU will bring the entertainment factor to your next pitch or presentation!
